Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician / Plant Mechanic with hands-on experience in conveyor line systems to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and conveyor systems to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of conveyor lines, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and other mechanical systems.

• Install, align, and commission new mechanical components and conveyor equipment.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure minimal downtime of production lines.

• Inspect mechanical systems, identify issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.

• Support production operations by responding quickly to mechanical breakdowns.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on work performed.

• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company HSE policies.

• Assist in upgrading or modifying equipment to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Strong experience in conveyor systems, pumps, hydraulics, and mechanical assemblies.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals.

• Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
