Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems for industrial, commercial, or construction projects. Ensures accurate fitting, alignment, and testing of pipes according to drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret piping drawings, isometric diagrams, and blueprints.

Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes using hand and power tools.

Assemble and install pipes, valves, and fittings for water, steam, gas, or process systems.

Align and secure pipes using clamps, brackets, and welding equipment.

Test completed piping systems for leaks and proper function.

Work closely with welders and fabricators to ensure accurate assembly.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.

Follow company and site safety procedures, including PPE compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:

High school certificate or technical diploma in mechanical or piping trades.

3–8 years of experience in industrial, construction, or oil & gas piping works.

Strong knowledge of pipe materials (CS, SS, PVC, etc.) and fittings.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-
Basic understanding of welding and pressure testing.
