Job Summary:

The Electrical & Instrumentation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete maintenance and reliability of electrical and instrumentation systems in the Rockwool production line. The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, automation improvements, and ensuring compliance with statutory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure uninterrupted operation of electrical and instrumentation systems in the Rockwool production line.

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.

• Lead Capex and Opex projects, including low-cost automation initiatives, within timelines.

• Ensure statutory compliance with local electrical authorities and maintain all required documentation.

• Oversee maintenance of electrical panels (PCC, MCC), 33 KV substations, and control panels.

• Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and VFD systems to minimize downtime.

• Maintain and calibrate instruments including temperature, pressure, and level sensors, transmitters, and controllers.

• Supervise maintenance of DG sets and all utility electrical systems.

• Monitor spare part consumption, plan inventory, and raise purchase requisitions as needed.

• Maintain up-to-date operation and maintenance manuals, drawings, and calibration records.

• Conduct training for technical staff to enhance performance and safety awareness.

• Implement and monitor all electrical safety procedures across the plant.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.

• 10–15 years of experience in E&I maintenance within a Rockwool / Glasswool / Manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.

• Experience in high-voltage systems (up to 33 KV) and statutory compliance.

• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
